Picture this: “It is always something greater than the idea you have in your mind.”
I am talking about the will of God for your life. Something you might be contemplating at the beginning of a new year.
What does God have for me?
Over the years, as the official amateur photographer of the family, I must say I have captured some pretty special moments. Like the grandsons racing on the beach at Tofino, my wife Jill walking with the lions in Zimbabwe and my 3 year old granddaughter at home with her dolly house.
But there have been many more moments I am sure I have missed because either I was too slow to anticipate what was imminent or too quick in walking away from an experience just upon the horizon.
You can make the same mistake with God. Impatience and inattentiveness will miss you possibilities and potentialities.
So why not right now ask God to help you for a new year exercise a vibrant faith, a lasting hope and a love that will endure.
He has plans for you!
“For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
